Your honest opinion is appreciated. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

It’s hard to believe that we are even thinking about next year, but we are starting to plan for the 2020-2021 school year.  One of the pieces of that planning is to collect data from the current year.  Below is the information and link to a survey for our community to fill out. We had about 259 responses last year, so I’m hoping we can hit the 300 mark this year so we can use that data to plan. Thank you SO much for all your support and input! Have a wonderful weekend! -Kathy Lott

Blog Updates: Starting March 1, I will no longer be putting test dates in my blog. The point of this is to start to build and increase independence as students prepare for middle school. The best way to know when a test is coming is to ask your child. At this point, they should be able to communicate with you when a test is, what we are currently learning in class, what lessons/chapters we are on, and if they cannot, they have been taught to use their planners as a tool to remember and stay organized.  When I do schedule a test, students are always told a few days ahead of time, it is written on the board for a few days, students are encouraged to write the dates in their planner, and we start to review in class. It will be their job to communicate these dates to their parents as well as prepare for a test at home if they feel the need to. Please encourage your child to utilize their planner as a means of remembering and to communicate with you when an important date is coming.
